Although this campground is mostly back-in's and you're close to your neighbor, it is still one of my favorite campgrounds to stay at. Largely due to the managers, Chris & Margie, who make your stay so very enjoyable as well as its proximity to downtown Manitou Springs. This is our second time to stay a week here and when we leave, we have new friends and good memories. There is no cable and limited sites have satellite, but unless that is a deal breaker, this is #1 in my books.

WOW is the only word I can use for this park. It's right in town; concrete pads, trees, very organized staff, free shuttle to downtown. We would definitely stay here again and next time, for longer! Excellent RV park with lots of activities; especially for a KOA. We've never seen a KOA like this!

Nice campground. Had BBQ dinner each evening that you can purchase. Quiet with trees. Appeared to have a fair amount of full timers there. We would camp there again.

Not a bad park for overnight. Level, gravel sites, some shade, great Wifi and cable. We did not have the same problem the previous reviewer had regarding the cattle smell. We would definitely stay here for 1-2 nights.

Beautiful setting especially if you are on the river. It is worth the extra money. Most of the sites are very close to each other and there are a lot of long term renters. The staff were very helpful and courteous and even cut half a tree down for us to get our motorhome into the space. There was a dog park, walking trails, playground, family/group settings. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and nice as well. This would be a great place for a family to camp. We would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the nicest private campgrounds we've stayed in. Very wooded, yet easy access for our 40' motorhome and trailer; very clean and quiet and actually reminded us of a state park setting. Very close to Glacier National Park and very close to the Hungry Horse Dam which was a beautiful road that ran beside it. The lots were mostly level, however, the park is gravel and hilly, so impossible to be 100% level. Deer came into the park regularly and the owners couldn't be any nicer. Great little store in the office area. We would definitely stay here again; we look forward to it!

We were pleasantly surprised with this campground. Nice level slabs, pleasant staff, close to the highway and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice park like setting, however, spots were not level, no satellite reception, mostly gravel, but heavily wooded. Mosquitoes were horrible, however, I don't believe it was exclusive to this park. This time of year the mosquitos are bad everywhere around Diamond Lake. They did warn us when we checked in about the mosquitos. Two little amish men helped us into our spot which was nice, but they were a bit bossy. Very clean campground. We would definitely stay here again. Nice proximity to Diamond Lake, Waterfalls and Crater Lake.

We loved staying here. Concrete pads and paved roads; no gravel anywhere...The owners/managers were incredibly accommodating as we came in late; each spot had its own grassy area with picnic table. Ultra clean park and each spot had a tree or two. It was such a welcome relief after some of the other places we've stayed in Washington. Close to Mt. St. Helens and the office provided loads of information on local spots. Walking trail which was very scenic. We would most definitely stay here again. Matter of fact, we didn't want to leave!

Park was gravel with no shade trees and trailers close together. Appeared to have quite a few long term campers. Walking path that was a bit interesting with rabbits EVERYWHERE. Not a bad place to stay for one night, but anything more than that, I wouldn't do. However, for Casper, WY, I don't know if it gets any better. Not a great place to visit in my opinion. It was easy to get in and out, though.

I really liked this campground. Its perched on top of a cliff, was small, with easy access off Hwy. 25 and most spots had good views. The owners were extremely nice and helpful in parking the motorhome. Free Wi-Fi, however, awful TV. We would definitely stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this campground was. Concrete level pads, trees, picnic tables and in town with very little road noise. Easy access from highway. We would definitely stay here again.

Appeared to be a "worker camp." Their website said, and I quote, "Come stay overnight at the ranch..on the scenic Yakima River in central Washington." It goes on to say, "Easy Pull-Through Access, Rustic Club House, Livestock and Wildlife Viewings." Now, let's break down Truth from Fiction. STATEMENT: "Come stay overnight at the ranch"......REALITY: There was no ranch. There was a patch of grass in the middle of a cow pasture. STATEMENT: "On the Scenic Yakima River in Central Washington". REALITY: We never saw ANY river. STATEMENT: "Easy Pull-Through Access"...REALITY: There was nothing easy about maneuvering 52' of motorhome & trailer through parked cars, trucks and 100 year old Airstreams. I also had to dodge the port-a-potty. STATEMENT: "Rustic Club House".......now unless they are referring to the bulletin/chalk board at the road that told the rules and a kiosk to put your payment in, I never saw any such club house. STATEMENT: "Livestock and Wildlife Viewings".....REALITY: Well, this one may be the closest to the truth. We were sharing a field with the cattle, and the wildlife viewings we saw were mosquitoes that were running rampant here. Even our poor dog was scratching from the mosquitoes. If you don't mind staying in a field with LeRoy scratching himself as he stands in the doorway of his 15' 1948 Airstream on blocks, then this isn't that bad.

This park was very convenient, however, we camped in a 38' motorhome and were squashed between a caboose (I'm serious) and another 40' motorhome. RV's, trailers, motorhomes were everywhere. The roads within the park were extremely narrow and dirt and difficult to get in and out of. I"m amazed I was able to get out. Slides barely made it out. Nice staff though. Lots of full timers. We would not stay here again.

The owners were very nice; helpful. The location was clean, however, difficult to get into. It was a pull-thru but was awkward to get into with a motorcycle trailer. We have a 38' motorhome with a 12' trailer and we just could not clear the electrical box with the trailer due to the angle of the turn. Our mirrors were 6" from the neighbors 5th wheel and we ended up having to unhook the trailer and reposition. For an overnight stay, it was fine.

Although this is a beautiful park, it is difficult getting a 37' or larger motorhome into a spot here. It can be done, but the roads are very narrow, all sand, with low hanging branches and mostly back-in sites. But it is a nice park otherwise.

A good location with nice roads. Our spot was flat and park was clean. There is no shade, but great for stop over. We would definitely stay here again.

We picked this park because it was listed as the only Good Sams Park in Hattiesburg. We arrived just at dusk and the office had already closed. We proceeded to find a spot and were met with horrible, bumpy roads; the spots were randomly numbered and impossible to figure out; it looked like people were living in tiny little campers permanently. The only positive about this park was it was right off the hwy. We probably would not stay here again.

We were put up in this park for free by Suncoast RV for which we were trading in our RV for a new one. This is a lovely RV park with its own little lake that you can fish from, the roads were very good, the park was clean and well kept, the spots were adequately spaced and had lots of shade. We were here for 6 days and would definitely stay here again. Very nice park with nice outdoor covered pool area and bathhouse.

Such a nice park; if your permanent or semi-permanent. Lots of park models with permanent residents; nice lake in the middle of the park; plenty of activities for seniors. Our spot appeared to be an after-thought and I felt like we were parked in someone's front yard. Everyone was very friendly and nice though. I believe this is more for snowbirds visiting Florida for several months or permanent residents. Good location!

This was a great park. Small, right on the beach, very friendly and helpful host and a great spot to watch the sunrise in the morning. The casino shuttles you from the RV park to the casino. One of the best spots we've stayed at. A bit off the beaten path, but well worth it. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a typical RV campground next to the highway and close to train tracks. They had very level lots (we didn't have to use our jacks) and the hosts were very nice and helpful. The main negative to this campground is the trains that come through between 4:45 am and continue until about 6:30 am and it's right next to a Wal-Mart. We would probably stay here again for a one night stop but nothing more.

We stayed here for the Balloon Festival as it was within a couple miles of the event. As mentioned in previous reviews, this park is completely gravel and when I say gravel, I mean lots and lots of gravel. It rained one of the nights we were there and our jacks sunk into the gravel and caused the RV to lean. There was no grass anywhere for our little dog. They have speed bumps everywhere and one was so large our jacks dragged on it. This was one of the worst parks we've stayed at. The rate of $69 was the Balloon Festival price and completely ridiculous. We would not stay here again.

We stayed at this park for a week and loved it so much, we stayed 3 extra days. Our spot backed up to a stream with a concrete pad and picnic table. The managers were extremely nice & helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This park was beautiful! From the moss hanging from the trees to the river view, our visit here was excellent. The sites were large, huge concrete pad with picnic tables, fire pit and very wooded. The only negative was getting to it. It was a bit difficult to find, but worth the search. We would definitely stay here again.

This was an awesome State Park. They even had cable which I've never seen at a State Park. The park was beautiful with moss hanging from the trees and very wooded lots. They had handicapped Rv spots that we used and were wonderful. We had deer come right up to our door. We would definitely camp here again.

We love this park! It's beautiful, wooded and most sites have lake views. We have stayed here several times and always look forward to staying here. We even get satellite coverage with all the trees. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to coming back!
